Custom Robotic Automation, Engineered Around Your Production Process

From concept through commissioning, SCADAware designs and delivers complete robotic work cells that integrate custom machinery, controls, vision, and safety into your manufacturing operation.

Robotics Expertise From First Assessment to Production Startup

Application Evaluation & System Design

We assess part flow, cycle time, handling requirements, and existing equipment, then develop a custom cell concept with the robot, tooling, fixtures, and machine interfaces your application requires.

Fabrication, Controls & Programming

Our team brings the design to life through machine construction, electrical controls, robot and PLC programming, and safety integration—connecting every component into a coordinated production system.

Testing, Installation & Commissioning

We verify system operation during factory testing, install and commission the cell on your floor, train operators, and provide ongoing technical support after startup.

Your Process Defines the System

Every project starts with the work your operation needs to accomplish: the parts you handle, the cycle times you target, and the equipment already on your floor. SCADAware evaluates the application and engineers a robotic system around those requirements rather than forcing your process into a standard cell.

One Team Across Every Discipline

Mechanical engineers design the cell, fixtures, and end-of-arm tooling while electrical engineers develop the power distribution, control panels, and safety architecture. Robotics specialists, PLC programmers, and software developers coordinate motion, sensors, machine vision, and production equipment so the entire system works as one.

Built to Run on Your Floor

Our scope extends beyond robot selection and programming. SCADAware coordinates machine construction, assembly, integration, testing, installation, and startup—with attention to operator access, maintenance, and reliable performance in the conditions of your plant.

Every Component Engineered to Work Together

From robot selection to final controls integration, each work cell is designed around your production process, facility constraints, and performance goals.

Industrial Robots & Custom Tooling

Six-axis robots and purpose-built end-of-arm tooling handle parts with the reach, precision, and repeatability your application requires.

Machine Vision & Inspection

Cameras, lighting, and sensors guide robotic motion, verify parts, and support in-process quality checks.

Material Flow & Production Equipment

Conveyors, fixtures, and custom machinery coordinate part delivery, processing, and discharge across the cell.

PLC Controls & Safety Integration

PLC programming, control panels, operator interfaces, and engineered safeguards bring the complete system into reliable operation.

From Production Challenge to Working System

Step 1

Define the Application

We review your parts, cycle targets, equipment, floor space, and operator needs to establish practical requirements for automation.

Step 2

My Role

Integrated Robotic Work Cell
SCADAware engineers a machine-tending cell that combines a six-axis robot, application-specific gripper, part fixtures, conveyor interface, machine vision, PLC controls, and safety guarding. After factory testing, the team installs and commissions the cell and trains plant personnel. The integrated workflow reduces manual handling, makes part transfer more consistent, and gives operators more time to oversee production.

Answers to Common Automation Questions

Explore how a custom robotic system moves from application evaluation to production and ongoing support.

How do we know whether our process is a good fit for robotics?

We evaluate the part, cycle time, production volume, handling requirements, available space, and current workflow. That assessment helps determine whether a robotic cell is practical and what equipment the complete solution would require.

Can a new robotic cell work with our existing equipment?

Yes. We can design interfaces to existing machines, conveyors, PLCs, and production systems. The integration plan accounts for equipment signals, material flow, physical constraints, and operator access.

How is operator safety addressed?

Safety is considered during cell design, not added at the end. We engineer guarding, access points, safety controls, and operating sequences around the application and its applicable requirements.

Will the system be tested before it reaches our facility?

We plan factory testing to verify the assembled equipment, controls, robot programs, and key operating sequences before shipment. Testing also provides an opportunity to identify adjustments ahead of on-site installation.

What happens during installation and commissioning?

Our team installs and integrates the cell with the surrounding process, checks interfaces and safety functions, then tunes operation using production conditions. We work with your team to transition the system into service.

Do you provide operator training and support after startup?

Yes. We train operators and maintenance personnel on system operation and routine troubleshooting, provide documentation, and remain available for technical support as production needs evolve.
